Introducing my friend, Jonathan Levine, and his journey at weight loss and the completion of an Ironman

I want to take some time to introduce my friend, Jonathan Levine.  I met him at church last year, where he and his wife are very active in teaching our children. He mentioned to me back then that he was on a journey to lose a bunch of weigh and complete an Ironman. I didn’t know much else about what he was doing.

Then recently, after seeing some comments of encouragement and advice he gave to Randy (who is beginning an extreme weight loss adventure), I stopped over at Jon’s website, Hot Needle of Inquiry. Jon has some great articles and worthwhile pod casts. See, Jon has lost 100 pounds this last year and is going for 100 more in addition to his Ironman quest. During this last year, Jon has learned a great deal about training, running, dieting, nutrition, and weight loss. He brings a level of experience that I simply don’t have.

I encourage you to check out his website and listen to some of his pod casts if you are remotely trying to achieve anything similar. And even if you are not overweight, or are not training for an Ironman, you still may learn something about fitness, diet, nutrition, mental fortitude, or yourself.

In the least, you can leave some words of encourage for Jon as well.
