Kemme Fitness bootcamps: feel free to steal the workouts

It’s official:  I finally opted to make some money. Ok, it wasn’t even my idea and I even fought against it at first (I really am not a businessman apparently).

However, a friend of mine asked me to do a bootcamp at night after work after she saw me leading a large group of coworkers during lunchtime. My wife and I agreed that if I were to be paid and we had enough people, I could swing it one night a week after work.  I barely make dinner time to begin with, so what’s another night of eating alone.

June 12th marked the first Kemme Fitness bootcamp in 6th Street Park here in Grand Rapids. We had 10 show up (about half who said they were interested, which is exactly the percentage I figured on).  All votes so far indicate it was a success and the 19th was scheduled for another round with hopes to do it now on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I am still running the free bootcamp for friends and church members on Sunday afternoons, which turns out to be the perfect lab setting to test out the bootcamp workouts for my paying customers. So far I have already re-invested the money into some new plastic fat bats and basketballs to create more homemade equipment. Once I get enough Clubbells and Medicine Balls, I can introduce those into the bootcamp workouts as well.  Until then, they are bodyweight only.

This brings me to the reason behind this post.  There are some of you, say Jason Robillard, who likes to lead small bootcamps here and there.  Well I will be posting more and more bootcamp workouts which are perfect to do anywhere and with small to large groups.  If you know the exercises (if not, check out the Exercise page for video links) then you can have fun in a large group – no equipment needed!!  Heck, you don’t even have to give me credit for it – just enjoy.

If you would, though, let me know what you think of any of them.  Just comment on this post, or send me an email:  kemmestudios@altelco.net
