Spartacus

Above is the link to the PDF file containing the description of the Spartacus Challenge. It was created by Men’s Health for the actors in the television series, Spartacus.

This is a good workout for anybody at any level, and can be fun in a group.  A bit of warning though – take it easy on the side lunges and the lunge rotations. I witnessed a dozen people, including myself, have a hard time sitting down for a few days afterwards. You should be fine if you try this again the following week or so, but just ease into those two exercises. You will be surprised how you are unprepared for those movements.

I will put a couple links below showing the actors doing it, which is good motivation. Feel free to picture yourself carrying a sword when you are actually doing the workout!

I’ve read about Spartacus workout before and have seen the results in people taking the workout. I would say it’s good but challenging due to the intensive routine.
